Document Details
A Special Power of Attorney is a legal document that grants a designated individual, known as the agent or attorney-in-fact, the authority to act on behalf of the principal in specific matters or transactions. Unlike a general power of attorney, this document limits the agent’s authority to clearly defined tasks such as selling property, managing bank accounts, or handling a legal issue. The powers granted are outlined in detail and are only valid for the duration or conditions specified by the principal. Once the task is completed or the time period expires, the Special Power of Attorney becomes void.
